I was going to maintain my silence and hold off until late spring or summer of 2026 to say anything but I wanted to give fans a “Heads Up”.
I have been approached by several individuals/memorabilia agents regarding “rounding up” members of the 1986 Super Bowl XXI team now to celebrate our 40th anniversary prior to next football season. I am aware that the New York Football Giants might be planning to do some things to recognize the team next football season. But, if you are a “diehard Giants fan” there might be a few “celebratory events” planned prior to the beginning of the actual football season next year.
So, on your mark, get ready, get set for the return of authentic and true World Champions in 2026. Stay tune…!
86 Team Reunion was in the words of Maurice Carthon “the best weekend of my life!” Bill Belichick called our Reunion Weekend an “unbelievable, awesome experience that all of us will remember for the rest of our lives!” 51 of the 53 players and 8 of the 11 coaches including Parcells and Belichick participated in the event. For many of us it was fun to reassemble as a team once again but it was also an emotional experience that many of us never realized we’d have until we were in the presence of one another and able to express what it meant to be a part of The Team and forever linked to one another!
