  1. Mr. Van Pelt, you were my child hood sports hero and still are. I remember watching you and always being amazed at how great a player you were. You were incredible! I am thankful to have some game film of you playing with our Giatns. I will always watch them and remember my youth watching you play and how awesome it was. I miss you!
