Brad Van Pelt was a good friend to the community here in Santa Barbara..He will be missed..His family all are very sad but are delighted with all of the media responce to his passing..he was like a forgotten hero...his son Bradlee is trying to ressurect his career at the same position that Brad played in college..I hope that Bradlee gets a chance to prove himself again..It would be ironic if the Giants gave him a chance and he made the team..I know that he is working very hard to get back to where he once was..

Harry, heard you on the fan today with Mike F. Real sad to hear of Brad's passing. He along with you and Brian Kelly were the first Giant greats that I really admired when I was a kid. Brad Van Pelt was a great Giant and an equally great person.

My first NY Giant jersey was number 10, Brad Van Pelt, a Christmas gift from my father. Brad Van Pelt made me proud to be a Giants fan back when they weren't winning very much. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
