Dear Mr. Carson,
I've recently got up to the 21st century and now have my own computer. I've looked at Barnes and Noble as well as Wal-Mart for your autobiograpy to no avail Where do I go to get it? An autographed copy would be nice

... No matter how small a moment may seem to us, it can equate to the chance of a lifetime for someone that we have inspired... like the elderly gentleman in the wheelchair I met in the HOF Gift Store the day we left Canton. I know I was proud of you that hot Saturday afternoon at Fawcett Stadium, with the whole world looking on, but I was even more proud that Monday morning in the gift store, when nobody was watching but a nice elderly man in a wheelchair pushed by his adult son. In the midst of a GIANT conversation, I listened to this person's personal story about you, and how just a moment of your time, and your kindness, touched his life beyond words! Then, he shared with me that he hoped that before he left "God's Green Earth", he wanted to live to see the day that the NFL wised up, and PUT HARRY IN THE HALL! His only son made sure that he got to experience that IN-PERSON! THAT experience is what topped MY HOF Weekend!
May we never take that responsibility for granted... EVER. Thank you, for representing ME. Thank you, for representing ALL OF US!
-Michael

Unc, you know I am a night-owl, so the time stamp should come as no surprise. I am sitting here reading some of the many wonderful messages left by the many people you have met from day to day. Some have gotten autographs, or maybe a snapshot with the old camera-phone, or maybe just a handshake and a kind word from you.
In both of our chosen professions, you and I have been blessed to be able to touch people's lives. We are not only AMBASSADORS of the CARSONS, the EADDYS, the SINGLETONS, the HAMS, the SOLIS' FAMILIES... but WE are ambassadors of Florence, of South Carolina State, of South Carolina, as well as the many other entities we represent separately. You continue to make me, as well as our family, proud of you, and everything that you stand for. It is my hope, that you continue to carry the spirit of your Mom, Gladys(Granny)with you, as you continue to touch the lives of everyone you meet, and make their days a little bit brighter... just for the moment you share with them.

Mr. Carson,
Thank you for the autograph yesterday at Newark Airport. (We shared a delayed plane in.) My son was absolutely thrilled. Unbeknownst to you, I had been away from home for a week helping to care for my father in New Orleans, who was just diagnosed with cancer last week. Relaying to him on the phone my encounter with a football great and the gift you gave me for my son brought a smile to his face that I could see through the phone. I appreciate you taking the time for the autograph.
Thanks,
Nick Saacks

When is the next time Harry will be doing a signing in NY or NJ? I am looking to fill a 1986 SB helmet team and Harry is one of the greats I need. Have recently seen LT, Martin, Morris, Bavaro, McConkey, Marshal, and a few other greats from the 86 team but seldom see Harry coming out to thrill the fans. Anything soon? Can't seem to hunt down Simms either...lol.
Thanks
Brian

Big Harry fan from day one as a kid. After losing out in the new Giant Stadium ticket lottery in 1976, my dad wrote Wellington Mara a personal letter, telling him how dissappointed he was that he did not get selected. Low and behold, a few weeks prior to opening day in the new stadium, we get a letter from Mr. Mara (personally signed) that we have tickets if we wanted them. My dad tells me the check was in the mail that next day...... However, a month or so prior to that, my dad, myself, two brothers and close friends went on our annual excursion to Pace University to watch the giants practice. One of the first players we see coming off the practice field is the rookie 4th round draft pick from South Carlina State. My brothers and I were fighting to be the first one to get an autograph. Harry, sounding very much like good parent, let us know very gently that we had to cool out before getting any autographs. Needless to say he's been our favorite Giant since. I will never forget the image of him coming out alone for the coin flip in the Super Bowl vs. about 5 Broncos. My family could not have been happier when he was elected to hall. I grew up in Westwood and have seen Harry from time to time when I lived there, but always respected his privacy. However, not that he doesnt know it already, I just wanted to let him know how much he is appreciated by Giant fans.

And by the way Harry, I also wanted to say I see you on t.v. (never got the honor to see you in person though )
and let me tell you, you look like you could put the uniform and go back out there with Strahan and the boys!! you still look in total game shape!!!
I loved watching you, Lawrence, Carl and Brian play in the 80's...and BIG CONGRATS on the Hall of Fame...they showed real taste chosing you!!
I really hope that someday I can meet you (even if it's for 3 seconds) to even just be able to have the high honor of shaking your hand.
Harry, you ROCK buddy!!!!

I have been a faithful Giants fan since I was a little Defensive Tackle (even through The Fumble of '76) and throughout the period when planes would fly over Giants Stadium saying they stunk. I will NEVER abandon MY GIANTS!!!! EVER!!! I just hope Brady and the Pats realize they are not up against the 0-2 Giants but THE ROAD WARRIORS!!!! And I just know Strahan, Pierce and crew will make it a really LOOOONG day for Brady and that team from New England!! And Eli has gotten sharp as a razor (thanks Plaxico!!).
New England you've bitten off more than you chew with MY BOYS!!! Go GET 'EM BIG BLUE WRECKING CREW!!!!!!

Dear Harry,
Bought one of your autographed pics for my 9 year old nephew Evan. Never to early to teach him about the Giant greats of the game. Thanks for all the wonderful memories and hopefully we can add one more this Sunday in the Super Bowl.
Sincerely

we watched the giants growing up here in canada. We still, to this day, say,,,"do it for Harry"...We noticed you never were driven backward on the field and held your position like,,,well,,,a Giant. We are all grown up now,,and all middle linebackers in life,,thanks to you. Some key figures from age 8 or 9 always remain in ones mind,,,glads it you...

As you and Lt.Col.Gadson go to the center of the field, I will be cheering. With the weather forecast, I look for an "old fashioned" game, like the ones you use to play. Good Luck to the team.. And bring home a WIN...

Harry,
I must say, meeting you last night, especially where we were (as you walked through unrecognized) was a thrill for me. After watching you for years knock the crap out of offensive players, shaking your hand started 2008 off on the right path for me. Have a great year, and maybe I'll see you there again.

Harry,
Happy New Year. I have been a life long Giant Fan starting in the late 1970's. I was so happy when you were finally admitted to the NFL hall of fame. I went to college out near Cleveland and had a college roomate who used to tell me how good Clay Matthews was. I told him flat out the best middle linebacker I had ever seen was Mr. Harry Carson. I told him that you achieved great success on a losing team early on and helped that team become great. I wish you well and thanks for the great memories....
