Harry Carson works with the Bergen County Cancer Education and Early Detection Program (CEED Program)
This is the second year of his involvement working with this program in Bergen
County, NJ help to promote an awareness of Prostate Cancer. The program
conducts several free prostate cancer screening and colorectal cancer screenings
during the course of the year.
The prostate cancer incidence rate for African American men is at least 50 percent higher than rates for men of other racial and ethnic groups, according to the American Cancer Society. Carson has signed on to help reduce this disparity in cancer survival and death rates.
